*HTML or HyperText Markup Language is the main markup language for creating web pages and other information that can be displayed in a web browser.

** RAR is a proprietary archive file format that supports data compression, error recovery and file spanning. It was developed by a Russian software engineer, Eugene Roshal (the name RAR stands for Roshal ARchive) and the RAR software is licensed by win.rar GmbH.

**.ZIP is an archive file format that supports lossless data compression. A .ZIP file may contain one or more files or folders that may have been compressed. The .ZIP file format permits a number of compression algorithms.

*** The Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) is a working group of experts that was formed by ISO and IEC to set standards for audio and video compression and transmission.

**** The term "JPEG" is an acronym for the Joint Photographic Experts Group, which created the standard. Seen most often with the .jpg extension - it is a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital images, particularly for those images produced by digital photography.
