b2ap3_thumbnail_iphone5_home.jpgMany users complain that the Home button on their iOS devices doesn’t always work. Such problem often appears on average after half a year of active use of the iOS device. In this advice we will try to help you solve this problem.

Here we suggest a simple calibration method that can be done at home. If this method won’t help and won’t fix the problem, then we recommend contacting service centre for help.

Short step-by-step instruction:

  1. Launch any standard application on your iOS device. Standard applications like: “Notes”, “Clock”, “Promotions”, “Weather” and so forth.
  2. After application is open, press and hold the Power button until prompted to turn off the device. Do not turn it off, simply wait until this moment.
  3. As soon as a slider with “Turn off” appears on the screen of your iOS device, press and hold the Home button. Hold it for around 10 seconds. After that application will be force quitted.

After performing this easy procedure the Home button should become as a new one and respond to all clicks as if you have just taken your iOS device out of the box.
